My name is Sara Dove and I have never found my match. 

In a world where all girls wear a silver necklace that burns when you are close to your true love. Sara, at the age of 17 is the only girl she knows who hasn't found her partner. Even her 13 year old sister has found the one, but she's still searching. 

She's the weird one, the outcast the one that has to sit by herself because of this curse that has been inflicted on her. Even her parents, who try to hide their disappointment are worried. It's never happened before, no one she knows has ever made it to 17 years. To make matters worse her 18th birthday is coming up in 5 months and if she can't find her match before then she will be deemed  unmatched and will be asked to leave her  family and the life she knows. To live in a separate community where all of the unmatched live in complete isolation.
