'One signature made me their youngest agent- an undercover student chasing a killer.'

I realised that they weren't ordinary people, wearing suits in their own home, staying hidden at all costs...

It was all clear when they finally revealed themselves- Agent Corp, a group of investigators constantly hunting down criminal fugitives.

They had rescued me from the conflict in my homeland; it's only fair that I helped them in return.

A new case was in their hands; a gun had been found in the staff room of a prestigious boarding college, the fingerprints belonging to a runway serial killer, one attached to a chain of three other murders.

Which meant the killer was in the school. Disguised as a teacher.

Agent Corp needed someone on the inside, someone who could surpass the school's boundaries without suspicion and solve the case.

I was able to pull off the disguise, but had no training in espionage, weapons, or even the ability to fit the elite social standards of the academy.

Despite that, silence fell. The agents turned toward me, every pair of eyes fixed in my direction-as if they had all arrived at the same unsettling realization.

"Cleo...we may need your help."

And in that moment, my life took a serious turn.
