A crow's foot prints in the snow

Born a Grisha raised as a burden Odessa Whitlock was raised by a father who when found out she was Grisha deemed her a cursed child. All her family and friends either hated or ignored her gift except for her aunt who died two years ago by the hands of her father and also born a Grish. One night she sees the coat her aunt was wearing the night she died and made a decision to leave the place she grew up. She was running out in the snow to somewhere anywhere else. But before she can get too far away she finds a man? A boy? Lying in the snow gravely injured. She drags the wounded man to the cabin her aunt use to take her to find peace of mind. The two trade the stories of why they are away from home that night and come to a deal. Odessa promises to help the boy safe his friends and he will give her shelter.
