"Musashi?"

A woman's voice, soft and warm, cut through the haze. She froze. That voice. It sounded oddly familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Musashi slowly turned around, and the mist parted like a curtain. A figure appeared and leisurely walked toward her. She was tall and slender, with a wild mane of pinkish-purple hair that cascaded down her back. She wore an old Team Rocket uniform, faded with time, but still unmistakable.

Musashi's breath caught. Her knees threatened to buckle as sudden tightness began to creep into her throat, like a heavy weight settling there. Every heartbeat drove it upward, pressing against the fragile walls of her esophagus. It felt almost suffocating, as though the very air around her had thickened, making it difficult to swallow or speak. Each inhale was a struggle, and she fought to suppress the rising sensation that threatened to overwhelm her.

"K-kaa..san...?"
