(Mario) The Music Box

The story begins with Mario hearing rumors about an abandoned mansion near the Mushroom Kingdom, where people reportedly disappear without a trace. Although he was supposed to investigate the mansion with Princess Peach, Mario decides to go alone. Upon arriving, he discovers a strange music box playing by itself, which becomes a central element of the story.
As Mario explores the mansion, he finds it eerily deserted, with only one room illuminated. Inside, he encounters the music box and a blood-written message warning him to leave. Ignoring the warning, he finds that the front door has vanished, trapping him inside.
Mario must navigate the haunted house, uncovering diary entries from former residents that reveal the mansion's dark history. The gameplay involves solving puzzles and avoiding dangers as Mario seeks a way to escape before the house consumes him.
