In the family of 16-year-old Paula, things had been going downhill for a long time.
After years full of sleepless nights caused by her parents' loud, ongoing arguments and the following quiet, joyless days, she simply couldn't take it anymore.
She wasn't the only one.
Her older brother Martin, as well as her mother, had realized long ago that things couldn't continue like this. Paula's mother had still tried to save the family situation - also for the sake of Paula's younger sister.
Paula was aware of all this, yet she didn't know how she could support her mother in any way, and so, to distract herself, she simply spent a lot of time with her best friend.
Her whole life, she had wondered what it would have been like to grow up somewhere else, to not have to go through this exhausting everyday life that simply didn't feel like home.
She dreamed of finally breaking free from the monotonous routine one day and discovering the colorful, carefree, free sides of the world.
To laugh and to discover the FUN PART of the chaos of her teenage years.
But reality looked different!!
Until one day, her life took an unforeseen, chaotic turn...
And one day... she met him.

This story is a fan interpretation inspired by the upcoming GL series Pls Love starring Lena and Miu. While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
