Loving is easy

- Go on at least three dates.
- Get to know each other for at least three months before making it official.
- Don't sleep together in the first month of knowing each other.
- Don't kiss on the first date.
- Don't let him see you without make-up right away.
- Show interest but not too much he thinks you are desperate or obsessed.
- Don't get drunk with him right away.

Who set all those stupid rules about dating? Who said dating should be calculating and hard? Why can't you just confess and be happy?

I do think love should be easy and fun, and 'rules' make everything awful, you're too worried about making the perfect relationship and following every single rule you hear growing up, that you forget the very soul of everything, having fun and enjoying the journey together.

It shouldn't feel like another task you need to complete or a job you need to get done. I mean, sure, it takes work to make a relationship work, but it shouldn't be one that drains you out of energy.

Maybe that's the reason I've never had a boyfriend before in my 22 years alive, because everyone makes it look like a hassle that I prefer not getting myself into it.

Good thing I'm not known as a rule follower anyways.

So why should I make it hard to fall in love? When loving is easy.
