It's been 30 years since the vampires took control and since then they have worked out a system to keep what they called peace between humans and vampires. 

Every year their would be two offerings from each section that totals to 20 offerings per year and in return vampires don't go on killing rampages 

There once were a species that were chosen to protect humans from the vampires who had the strength and agility to kill the creatures of the night, they were called the Tueur or slayers. But since the takeover all of them were gathered and killed or so they thought.

Marley Whitlock was only 14 when she noticed that she was different from the other humans and now at the age of 19 she is ready to face the demons that haunted them all.  

But she's going to need backup.
