Gemma Lake doesn't give much thought to her appearance. She doesn't participate in any school activities. She is nothing like her pretty, perfect mother and sister. But for this year's Brighton Bay High School Festival, she has been nominated for Festival Queen. Gemma knows that there is no way she will actually win, but she is going to finally make an effort. Because her nemesis is too. And it's time somebody took that girl down a peg or two.
As she goes through the rigors of photo shoots and appearances and visits to the Mayor, Gemma starts to realize that maybe the persona she is putting on isn't an act. Maybe she is the kind of girl that boys notice and popular girls want to be friends with. The only problem is, changing means losing her best friend.

Control {Nash Grier/Cameron Dallas}

25 parts Complete

Gemma Tebotti, a former Ohio resident, moves out with her father to Los Angeles just after her sixteenth birthday. Gemma's expectation to maintain a low profile is almost impossible when she instantly befriends the most mysterious and utterly gorgeous boys at her school, Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas. Upon meeting her, both boys are interested in her but for different reasons. Nash, being on the more sensitive side, has the strong want to protect her from the much more aggressive, Cameron. Instantly, this turns into a constant battle between the two long time 'partners in crime' for her affection, which ultimately threatens her safety due to a bombshell secret. They're vampires. As her friendship with both boys escalates, Gemma can't help but notice their secretive behavior and competitiveness and begins to wonder what's really going on. It's amazing what charming remarks and fit bodies can hide... (Told from all perspectives)
