This book is english book with a few Spanish references. I wrote this story my freshmen year and I've been wanting to add onto it but never knew how. Reading this story over again and again made me realize I want nothing to change. I love it just the way it is just like Lorne loves Adara for who she is. This short tragic story is a rewrite of Rapunzel. It's a more modern set story but I hope you guys love it.

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! Waking up next to another boy, when you were also a boy, was a little more interesting, but still nothing to write home about. But waking up in Nico Beckett's sheets?
