First Veil

NaDari Tomioka, a member of the ancient Shin'en-shū, is sent alone to investigate a wealthy man who believes Slender Man is hunting him. Feared and resented within the Assembly, NaDari is known as the First Veil; marked by her bloodline, her mercy, and the child she once refused to kill. Though rumored to be ruthless, she is honest by nature and uses deception only against killers and monsters. As the investigation deepens, it becomes clear that Slender Man is not the only presence watching, and that some entities exist far beyond any human order or control.
