My names Clarissa Adele Morgenstern, but my friends all normally call me Clary. Just recently my mother and father filed for a divorce. Which meant me and my big brother, Jonathan, both got the choice to choose who we wanted to live with. Our mother was staying in Chicago, which is where both of us were raised, well our father will be moving to New York, where he got a new and better job offer. Me and my brother are almost like twins, we share the same room and are always attached to the hip, we do everything together. But I don't feel at home here, i don't think i ever did. We are the most popular people in our high school and are respected, like leaders. But I have decided to move with my father away from my friends and family and popularity. When i moved to New York I didn't know what would happen... But I sure as hell didn't expect this.
Or expect leaving to damage my relationship with my brother.

This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me.
