They had it all wrong. The closer they came to exposing themselves, we became even further from the truth. I mean come on sparkling romantic vampires and protective human loving werewolves. Like seriously, come on. I myself hated those versions, preferring the classics. The ones were the vampires weren't romantic or bunny eaters or were the werewolves are hideous beasts instead of a bunch of overgrown puppies.

But when they did come around to exposing themselves to their mortal counterparts and they didn't quite turn out like Edward Cullen or Jacob Black, it created an all out blood bath. We were doing well in this never ending massacre. Were they had powers and brute strength, we had technology and numbers. But all good things come to an end eventually when we began to lose the fight. The human race were turned into slaves, our population was cut in half. It went on like that for a few years until our prayers were answered and the protectors came.
