I was a simple barista in South City with a lukewarm social life and a writing career going nowhere fast. That is, until my eccentric grandmother, Lu, passed away, forcing me to return to the valley I hadn't seen since I was a child. No big deal. I'll just show up to the funeral, embrace the discomfort for a few hours, and then go back to my apartment in South City. That's what I was thinking until the mayor told me that Grandma Lu left me and local bumpkin, Brentli Tiller, as co-owners of her massive farm. Brentli doesn't believe I can handle the life of a farmer, but I'm determined to prove him wrong. I refuse to gift him my inheritance just because I've spent a few years in the city. It's time to roll up my sleeves, dust off old ghosts, and uncover the secrets of Altera Valley. I just wish I weren't so out of shape!

[PARTITION ROMANCE] 18+ She is a mute. He is a politician. And 1947 is burning around them. After surviving a brutal assault and losing her only family, Vrishty, a voiceless Hindu girl, is left alone in a town tearing itself apart. Hunted by the man who first claimed her, she hides in silence, until Meer, an emerging Muslim politician, becomes the only barrier between her and the chaos outside. Bound by guilt and an unexpected pull, Meer begins to realise his vicinity with the girl. But the nation which divided amongst the communal hate, will it be able to save these burning interfaith hearts, alive? __________________________ "In Islam" he continued quietly. "You cannot marry unless both agree... and unless both are Muslim" His expression twisted, a deep aching conflict. I shook my head, looking at him. As if almost pleading him. Noo...please....
