Rebekah of Bebbanburg (later Ragnarsdottir) is Uthreds younger sister, the siblings cherish eachother deeply and when Uthred want to follow his father into battle at the age of 10, the 8 year old Rebekah is right at his back. They get captured by Earl Ragnar and lives with his as his slaves before Ragnar makes them his legitimate children. The siblings grow up happy as a part of Earl Ragnar's family but then Earl Ragnar and his family is killed by Kjartan and only Rebekah, Uthred and Brida manage to get away. Rebekah stays by Uthreds side as they hunger for revange. Born as an elderman and raised as a dane Rebekah unlike her brother thrives on both sides. Rebekah is one of the few woman warriors and she fights hard to keep her pride and fights even harder to stay loyal to her beloved brother when the bastard son of her family's killer walks into her life.
