Divine tragedies, devastating wars, and eternal loves all shared the same fiery beginning. A shimmering spark that somehow always swelled into a raging inferno, burning everything nearby. After all, fire was relentless.

However, with a burning pain consuming her from within, Ahlpria D'Auvegne decided she hated the orange hue that devoured rough logs, white candles, and bloodied bodies. She loathed fire, its glimmer and its strength. She wanted cold logs, whole candles, and living bodies.

Years after the grievous loss that flooded her with a heavy, inextinguishable wrath, Ahlpria longed to see the princes again with a sharp spear driven through their throats. But when the second scion of flames sank into the water, Ahlpria D'Auvegne saw a chance.

Going against the very pieces of her own game, the young woman with hair braided in rancor seized the soaked wrists of the one she hated most, watching him burn anew.
