After all the trials to save wonderland and become queen, Alyssa decides not to stay and instead turns her focus to her human life with Jeb and helping her family. She told Morpheus that she couldn't rule an entire kingdom at the age of 16, thus leaving the Netherling with an empty throne and no way to rule it. Until one day a wild-haired woman falls through the red portal carrying Alyissa's key.

Willa is a wayward soul simply trying to live her life, paint and ignore her nagging history. But when that very past decides to make its home call, she's forced make a choice that will change her future, identity and the way she sees her family, forever.
