Aubrey Schmidt has learned how to survive on very little sleep. At fifteen, she lives with memories she doesn't fully understand, her brother Garrett's disappearance, parents who vanished from her life, and a mother whose death left her family broken. While her older brother Mike does everything he can to keep them together, Aubrey helps where she can, working after school and trying to hold onto what little normalcy she has left.
