A regular student at a not so regular "school" which is in fact a research institute for those with burgeoning psychic abilities. In this world, psychic powers are a very rare and barely understood phenomenon. One of the only things known about them for certain, is that they are effectively superpowers, and the other is that they can be measured and detected through science. Theo Calgar is a young, intelligent individual who has throughout his life measured with one of the highest scores ever found on the psiometer. But his powers have never seemed to manifest. Until now. Theo now finds himself with a power beyond anyone else's, and his power is...mind control.

"You don't remember me," he says. "But you never forgot." Clara and Henry were bound long before power existed. But when something finally awakened it tore their worlds apart. One disappeared into silence. The other survived by becoming something else. - Clara was never meant to wake up after her powers split her body apart. And yet she does, carrying something she does not understand, something still tied to Henry and to the darkness growing around him. When they find each other again, love grows where it should not, tangled with guilt, control, and the echo of something unfinished. ~ A slow burn Henry Creel story
