Alex has always been invisible.

When ancient forces begin to stir and shadows start to move with purpose, Alex and his friends are dragged into a war older than humanity itself-a war that once sealed Lucifer away and fractured reality in the process. Beneath their city, seven beings known as the Pillars of the Underworld awaken, each one a general of hell and a manifestation of humanity's deepest fears: sin, ruin, shadows, guilt, death, war, and the loss of meaning.
As divine light collides with living darkness, Alex learns that survival is no longer enough. Some enemies cannot be stabbed. Some wounds cannot be healed. And some battles are won not by strength-but by purpose.
