The Price Of Grapes

Basically an unlikely friendship forms in the present between a lesbian running away from herself, and an old gay man who's trapped himself in his grief.

A love story unfolds in the past as the present takes more energy to get through. Two soldiers thrown together with impossible chances, and they throw it all to the wind as they survive a draft, and prejudice, and a health crisis, all to remain together.

A story about learning to get through things because eventually the other side of the hardship will be lighter, and accepting that the pain of living will never disappear, but it will become manageable as you grow around it.
