Y/n has been a tarot reader for quite some time, and has had some reoccurring clients in the past couple of years.
But someone has decided to send their most skeptical friend over to her.
That's when she meets Michael Clifford: the hardest man to read, as his dark energy and lack of communication makes her feel uneasy.

He will ask for her help, in a desperate attempt to understand what is going on in his life, leaving his mark on her mind, and maybe even in her heart...

They will start seeing each other more often than they wished to, being constantly pulled in by an attraction they can't fully explain nor comprehend, resulting in their paths becoming one.

Her morals have always been plainly grey, she has never hidden this part of her nature, but she never has ulterior motives when she talks to others.
Little does she know, Michael is the total opposite: a police officer that has a strong morality, but slips into the grey zone when facing others, hiding his intentions if they mean he could get an advantage.

Are they ever going to work things out, when faced with a murder attempt, or are they going to grow even more distant?
