Begin Me

This is a shatter me fanfic. It takes place in 2026, before the reestablishment. In a world that fears power, containment is called protection.
Seventeen-year-old Oliver Brooks can neutralize any ability, making him untouchable-and dangerously confident. Sixteen-year-old Elizaveta Volkov absorbs both powers and emotions, drowning in feelings that were never hers to carry. The story is about the first generation of teens to experience powers. They've spent their life hiding, ignoring, and pushing away those powers, never once colliding with each other- until one day, when guards dressed in uniforms come knocking at their door. Eight teenagers are taken to a facility, who claims to protect them, but sooner or later they realize that system never intended them to leave.
