In the silence of the Haworth parsonage, Emily cannot write. Her inkwell is dry. Her gentleman will not come alive.

And on the moors, a figure emerges. Heathcliff.

But creation has costs. When Emily imagines a woman fierce enough to match him, she loses them both to each other. Night after night, she tries to unmake what she made. Night after night, Catherine will not dissolve.
