Engine of Resolve - A Tenya Iida Fanfiction

Engine of Resolve is a character-driven My Hero Academia story centred on Tenya Iida, where the rigid boundaries of duty, justice, and self-control are tested under relentless pressure. Set within the canon timeline but enriched with original arcs, the story peels back Iida's composed exterior to examine the cost of being a hero who believes there is no room to falter.

That belief is challenged by Aiko Fujimori-an original character whose quiet resilience masks a deeply painful past of quirk experimentation. As Aiko struggles with trauma, mistrust, and the consequences of having her power treated as something to be dissected rather than lived with, Iida is forced to confront injustice that cannot be solved by rules alone. Their slow-burn friendship becomes a crucible for growth, pushing Iida to question what true heroism demands when the system itself has failed someone standing right beside him.

Through high-stakes action, emotional fallout, and deliberate character study, Engine of Resolve explores legacy, autonomy, and the strength it takes not just to run forward-but to stop, listen, and choose compassion.
