The Constellation was built to explore, not to fight.

On a long-range mission toward the galactic core, the ship relies on experimental jump technology and an AI tasked with monitoring every system that keeps the crew alive. For Commander Gerald Younge, an engineer who trusts patterns more than intuition, routine begins to fracture when drive coils degrade in ways that theory can't explain and ancient signals echo through space with an unnatural rhythm.

As the crew pushes deeper, spacetime itself becomes unstable, forcing them to modify systems that were never meant to change mid-mission. What begins as exploration turns into adaptation-and then into survival.

When first contact finally comes, the Constellation will discover that not all intelligence announces itself as an enemy, and not all allies intend for the crew to remain in command.

The Constellation is hard science fiction focused on engineering, discovery, and quiet existential risk at the edge of human understanding.

Above a drowned Earth, the last remnants of humanity drift in the sky-scrap-built colonies stitched from zeppelins, balloons, and other flying contraptions. Life in the clouds is fragile. Gas is rationed. Secrets are currency. And the surface? It's a myth. A dead world swallowed by the flood. But cracks are forming aboard the Empire's flagship. Whispers of rebellion stir below the decks. As sixteen-year-old Finn begins to question the truths he was raised to believe, he's pulled into a web of hidden enemies, forbidden knowledge, and a war that never truly ended. The higher he rises, the more dangerous the game becomes. The sky was supposed to protect them. But something is shifting. And not all traitors hide in shadow. (Cover will be changed)
