I think Mo Dao Zu Shi is pretty much the same as The Untamed except an Anime and quite possibly gayer, but I love it. I've decided to do something different. Lan Zhan is an eighteen year old high school student. He is an introvert and a nerd. His best friend and cousin Lan Sizhui has a new boyfriend. Lan Zhan is angry that his friend is busy elsewhere. Lan Sizhui calls Lan Zhan self centred and unable to form a relationship either now or in the future. Lan Zhan challenges him that he'll have a very fulfilling relationship when he is ready, that is after a college degree and a job. Lan Sizhui challenges him that with his personality no one will be interested in him. Accepting the challenge Lan Zhan sets up an online dating profile for his thirty year old self. Through the profile he meets Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian is a thirty five year old father of one. His son lives with him. And is estranged from his wife with whom he has been divorced for ten years. He is a professor of Chemistry at a local college. His colleagues know him as sincere. His students know him as boring. When Wei Wuxian's cousin opens a dating profile for him he is indignant but reckons that he may end up making a friend. A faceless profile interests him and he starts chatting. Wei Wuxian challenges Lan Zhan intellectually and he finds himself desperately craving his messages and phone calls. But Wei Wuxian knows him as a thirty three year old closetted gay man who couldn't get into a relationship because of family constraints. He respects him as a peer and often shares his life struggles with him. Lan Zhan adores being treated as an adult for the first time in his life. They decide to keep their friendship platonic and virtual so as not to corrupt it. What will happen when on the first day of college Lan Zhan finds Wei Wuxian as his Chemistry professor? (Another Random Idea for 2025) Wei Wuxian met Lan Wangji in ninth grade and wanted to be like him. In fact Wei Wuxian was the opposite of the stoic, disciplined and serious Lan Wangji. School life ended. Wei Wuxian found out that he was adopted, moved out of his home, married his classmate, had a child and lost his wife in childbirth. He was not happy in life but he had finally achieved his goal of being disciplined and serious in life. He had to be for the sake of his son A'Yuan. When he gets a job offer that pays him almost twice his current salary, he accepts it willingly, not realizing that the psychiatric patient who had lost his parents in an accident he is to be the companion of is none other than Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji has not spoken a single word in three years, not since the death of his parents. When he sees his childhood crush in front of him he wants to speak but cannot make himself do so. So he pulls Wei Wuxian into his arms and kisses him. Lan Haikuan never blamed his brother for being the reason he lost his parents but Wangji did. If their parents hadn't gone to celebrate his graduation they wouldn't have died in the car accident. Lan Wangji never recovered from the trauma of it. He knew that if anyone could bring him out of the trauma, it was Wangji's first love-Wei Wuxian.Complete

Till Death Do Us Apart
Another Story Idea that I won't be starting till the current WIPs are over. But I just had to jot it down. Let me know what you think. Wei Wuxian and his gang including Wen Ning, Nie Huissang and Jiang Cheng break college curfew and going to the cemetary near their college on a new moon night for a dare. Wei Wuxian gets left behind when Nie Huissang has a panic attack and has to be rushed back. While deciding what to do Wei Wuxian witnesses a man being stabbed. As soon as the murderer leaves, Wei Wuxian rushes in to find an older man, unconscious, with a bleeding stab wound in his belly. Wei Wuxian decides to take him to the hospital.Complete
