Between Heartbeats

"Between Three Heartbeats" is a contemporary story following Zack Aldres, a mechanical engineering student with a turbulent past, who accidentally reunites at Crestwood University with his two childhood friends: Stella Belginton, a free-spirited and emotional artist, and Azura Zager, a brilliant and reserved materials engineer. What begins as a reconnection of old friends soon evolves into a complex polyamorous relationship, as the three confront their personal demons, societal expectations, threats from their toxic ex-partners (Rain and Patrick), and the challenge of building something new and genuine in a world that doesn't always understand them. The story explores themes of love, trauma, personal growth, authenticity, and the courage to choose an unconventional path.
