Afterwards

The world ended, years ago, not that most people care anymore. They just set-up and kept going. When the creatures came, great beasts and other beings from somewhere, most people learned how to avoid 'em or fight 'em. This is the world Caitlin grew up in. Its a world where you need to know people, you have to stick with your group; your tribe or whatever you want to call it.

Except, Caitlin didn't.
