Abuse can be a tricky burden to carry. Some days you feel like this new version of yourself. You feel whole. Then the next, when you look in the mirror you're not sure if that's still you. I'm the type that gets really sad on those days. My brother? He gets violent. His abuse sits heavy on him most days, and he takes it out on killing. The second I saw those violet eyes my heart stopped, time froze. My wolf spoke to me, he told me he was ours to claim. Ours to have.
