Meerab; A wall of silence and solitude

I travelled in the past, and I never thought that I would. Walking along the gardens of Kashmir, I saw a general, young and Dashing, who gave me something that I did not anticipate. I saw love. I saw war, and I realised that giving your heart away in a different time isn't so bad. Unforgettable and Unforgivable, Love is a game of chess where we become blind to the board, the heart of the lover is tehe wazir, and we, we are mere pawns in this game. I did give my heart away, even when if offended the rulership. A story of a man and a women, and what love can do. A man who history will not forgive, but a man I saw, he was caught in the silky webs of power, where the breezy beauty of the zenana and the fierce coercion of sentimentality and duty entrapped him and made him what he was. A general, who took me from the beautiful gardens of Kashmir to the hot and dusty winds of Mewar, and finally here, into the gilded cage of the enchanting Mahals.
Somewhere in this whisper, Arohi became Meerab, and he, he changed from the man who loved to the man who trapped me.
