When Lucy Jane Clervaux found out she had "powers" she thought she was the only one in the world, being able to read minds or lift things up with a thought. When she was 12, she met a boy named Charles Xavier, soon discovering they were just like one another. A bond grew between the two children as they continued to grow up, both extremely fascinated in genetics and how the mutant X-gene affects people. When the CIA suddenly has them on a mission to prevent mayhem and destruction, things get rocky between the two friends. Setting into motion what could be the biggest part of their lives.

This story is a fan interpretation inspired by the upcoming GL series Pls Love starring Lena and Miu. While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series. I hope this story can give fans a small glimpse of the world we might soon see on screen.
