Genesia, the life-giving Bestower, believes she has found the answer. Her vision: mortals. Beings of fleeting beauty, brittle bones, and boundless potential. But in the hallowed halls of the Novaen Reserti, her dream is viewed as a cosmic heresy.

When the pantheon finally relents, the first man is born; Corsma. A "son of sons" forged from stardust who inadvertently binds the vibrant, hopeful Genesia to the brooding, solemn Armagen, the Harbinger of Endings. Together, they form an impossible family that defies the ancient laws of the gods.

But as Corsma begins to walk the divine realms, he discovers that heaven is already rotting. A cancerous force of un-creation has awakened, and it is hunting the boy.

To survive, the fledgling family must unite their opposing powers. But their true weapon isn't divine might, it's a power no god foresaw: the ability to weave meaning out of chaos.

The first cracks in heaven have appeared. The First Canticle out of Seven has been released.
