Drew is your average quiet kid who sits in the back of the classroom and is one of the first students to fall asleep during class. He barely passes his homework on time and he hardly passes his tests. Kids at school know him as the dunce of fifth grade, and that's not exactly a good reputation.
But when his polite, bright classmate Lou approaches him, sitting alone at the school canteen one day, Drew might actually receive two things for the first time in his unimpressive life: a chance, and a friend. Will this new friendship perhaps offer hope beyond his usual comfort zone? Or will he continue keeping to himself in the corner?
