Neysa Adessi has been alone since her mother died. She's been bounced around foster care ever since, now she's living in the 'hopless house', a foster care home in New York known for the pain it brings. She has many friends, but she trusts no one. Neysa Adessi is broken, she's been alone since her mother died, she thinks she deserves to be.

Nico Di Angelo has been alone since his sister died. It's been an uneventful year since the fight with Gaea. Nico has friends and a roman half-sister that care for him, but he still feels alone. Nico Di Angelo is alone, he has been for years, he thinks that he deserves to be.

Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life.
