Two lives, as opposite as the sun and the moon, find their fates intertwined in the high-stakes world of underground racing and high fashion.

Rìguāng (日光) is a man of secrets. A brilliant university graduate by day, he leads a dangerous double life as a clandestine street racer by night. Moving between the neon-lit industrial hubs of China and the mountain passes of Japan, he is a master of the drift-but in his heart, he is a silent guardian. He spends his days protecting Yuèguāng (月光) from the shadows, caring for her with a fierce, unspoken devotion.
Yuèguāng is a rising fashion artist whose designs capture the elegance of the night. Despite her success, she is haunted by the pain of her family's separation. A deep misunderstanding regarding her past initially creates a rift between her and Rìguāng, but as they spend more time together, their walls begin to crumble.

Though they have fallen deeply in love, both are paralyzed by the fear of confession. Rìguāng expresses his love through silent protection; Yuèguāng expresses hers through the art she creates.
The turning point arrives during a horrific racing accident. As Rìguāng's life hangs in the balance, Yuèguāng is consumed by the terrifying realization that she might lose him forever. Faced with the fragility of life, she becomes paranoid that she has missed her only chance to be with the man who has been her sunlight in the dark.
