Saint Jude's University keeps its secrets locked tight after dark.

Eli Navarro transfers to the isolated campus looking for a fresh start-away from the loneliness that followed him from the city, away from expectations he could never meet. He doesn't expect the rules that make no sense, or the way shadows seem to shift when he's not looking, or the boy who's always waiting for him in the library at midnight.

Lucas is everything Eli never knew he needed: funny, kind, and impossibly familiar. He knows things about Eli no stranger should, and he sees parts of him no one else has ever noticed. But Lucas never shows his face during the day, and no one else on campus seems to know he exists.

As their connection deepens into something tender and real, Eli starts to uncover pieces of Saint Jude's past-rumors of students who vanished without a trace, of rituals hidden in old records, of a darkness that clings to the campus like fog. He realizes Lucas is tied to these secrets in ways he can't explain... and that the university has its eyes set on Eli as its next sacrifice.

In a place where midnight is more than just a time, and love can cross even the line between life and death, Eli must choose between saving himself or holding onto the only person who has ever truly seen him.

Some love stories aren't measured in forever. They're measured in what we choose to share, even when time is running out.
