*Book 3 in the Black Tiger series.*
"The city lies in ruins. The Skulker's rampage has left nothing but devastation in its wake. The government has abandoned its people, and the villains have claimed the streets as their own. But one hero refuses to give up.
Black Tiger, the legendary protector of New York, has been fighting in the shadows, biding his time. Now, with the city on the brink of collapse, he emerges to lead the resistance against the forces of chaos.
As he rallies the survivors and wages war against the villains, he becomes increasingly obsessed with one goal: stopping the monster that haunts his every waking moment.
The Skulker, once his friend Kyle Winters, now a twisted creature driven by madness and fury. The stage is set for a final confrontation between two old friends turned enemies. The city will burn, and only one will stand tall. The war between Black Tiger and the Skulker is about to reach its bloody climax."
Waking up in the body of a Romani Archiman is acceptable. Getting 3rd and 1st True Magics is nice. Getting Beasts as pets - delightful. The world of DxD is unforgivable. It's a world where some teenagers who aren't even two decades old somehow mystically defeat the descendants of legendary heroes, ancient demons, powerful dragons, etc. Why does this happen? Simply because! Simply put, this world only makes sense because it doesn't. And now, I have to put up with the fact that I live here. Such pain. (DxDxMulti)
