Jungkook didn't expect to be bound to a demon. It just sort of happened.

Demon hunter Jeon Jungkook receives a rare assignment from his supervisor, Kim Namjoon, to hunt down a dangerous half-breed. The half-human half-demon being, Y/n, holds the key to creating a weapon to stop Satan himself carved into her skin. All Jungkook has to do is sink a knife through her heart, then his team will do the rest.

Before he can bring himself to do it, he's cursed. Any time Y/n gets hurt, he gets hurt, and if she were to die? Well, it's safe to say Jungkook would be a goner, too.

But with threats of another human-demon war rising every day, Jungkook is left at a crossroads. The last human-demon war killed ten percent of the population, and he can only imagine what a war with Satan taking the lead would look like.

It doesn't help that the demon he's now bound to is, under her tough exterior, scared to die, and he deep down feels the same. He finds himself wondering what his true feelings for this demon are, and if any of his demon hunter family would ever support such a "sin."

In a world where one wrong move could mean total annihilation, Jungkook must choose―does he save himself and the woman he's growing to love, or does he make the ultimate sacrifice to save humanity?
