Winnie is the princess of Thon, the city of defense. She just turned eighteen and for the first time in her life her father-the king- allows her to go out into the kingdom by herself. On her journey she meets a young blacksmith who helps her escape a group of theirs.
Jane is a nineteen year old girl pretending to be a man to keep her father's blacksmith shop alive. She comes across a woman who is being harassed by a group of thugs.
Jane and Winnie get thrown into a world where same woman blacksmiths and same sex relationships are outlawed and forbidden. These young woman have to keep their relationship as well and Jane's identity a secret. Will they succeed in their mission? Or will they both get beheaded?
