Everyone in Columyr knows the name Atlas Krauss.

They know it because of her mother.

A witch so powerful she tried to overthrow the country. A terrorist. A legend.

Atlas has spent her entire life paying for crimes she did not commit.

When she is accepted into the most prestigious magical university in the capital, she sees it as a chance to prove something, that she is nothing like the woman who abandoned her, nothing like the monster history remembers.

But Myren is not Wuin.
And the university is not a place that forgets.

Among elves who despise her, wizards who fear her, and a past that refuses to stay buried, Atlas begins to notice something she has spent years pretending not to see:
