"You told me you loved me.", my voice cracks as the tears swell behind my eyes. I sound weak, vulnerable, needy. I do need him. "God Jana I was drunk! That's what happens when you drink, you say stupid shit that you don't mean. Sorry for all the confusion." He runs his hand roughly through his hair and slumps against the wall, refusing to meet my eyes. Tears pour down my face as I clench my fist and bring it down on his chest. He looks startled as the first blow hits him square in the middle. "Sorry for the confusion? Are you kidding me Cam?!". My fists rain down on him and my screams resonate in the small room. Suddenly he grasps my wrist and prevents me from punching him again. My knees give in and I fall to the floor, tears still rushing down my cheeks. I've just became one of those stupid girls in a romance movie................ Jana Marie Harraway is a straight A student, captain of the cheerleading team, a completely unique and spunky girl and totally against romance. Nothing ever stands in her way, especially not a hopeless romance with a boy who doesn't live up to her "high standards". Which is almost impossible to do. Until Cameron Fitch waltz back into her life....
