Axel has always dealt with his "issues" in quiet. They always told him things he needed to know, the right thing to do and people he shouldn't talk to, (like the trees, especially tall ones). 'They' are awkward schizophrenic shadows in his dreams . Sound weird? Well, it kind of gets weirder, when he meets this high-end rich kid named George.
