This story happens after Laura Palmer has been murdered, but after the case has been solved. In this story, Benjamin Horne is still trying to get his Ghostwood Estates project completed. He is working on getting the land he needs, but what he doesn't expect is Emily Wilson. She is a lawyer who specializes in environmental and natural resources with a Southern background who has been sent from a firm in Portland, Oregon to stop Benjamin Horne from taking land that needs to be preserved. He tries to turn on his charm per usual but is flabbergasted because it does not work on her. It makes him want to win more. What happens if throughout their fight, they become attracted to each other, losing all sight of their end goals?

Disclaimer: I know Benjamin Horne is not the best character, but I am attracted to the man nonetheless so here comes this story. Also, I use Emily Wilson as my original female character lead in most stories I write. Not the same character, has similarities, but mainly just shares the name.
