Wishfor, a planet that's been turned inside out.

Mylu, a young man with a soft, petal-textured exterior, but an opposite hot-headed temper, violent teeth, and a traumatic upbringing, believes it to be his bad karma catching up with him as he's kidnapped and taken to be auctioned off beneath Wishfor's crust in the Realm of the Sunless; A treacherous underworld infested with demons, drug warfare, and eldritch monsters sent here by the cosmos to spread the influence of the darkness across opposite light-bearing souls.

Scale, an Eminent- An almighty serpent God, chosen by the Sunless to enact the darkness' will and deliver Wishfor's Armageddon, is perhaps the biggest metaphor for don't judge a book by its cover of them all - and is the very last person Mylu expects to be his salvation.

Shy, too tall, too broad, ironically a plant-nerd - and a total social recluse- Scale is a man with a complex separation between the darkness in his soul and the radiance of his heart.

He's a listener, a mystery, and a diplomat, using his influence to unlock the truths of the darkness, in hopes of wishing true a future without it.

Intending to bully the clawed, horned, red-eyed, yet 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 cute gentle giant into returning him back to the sun, Mylu's desires begin to shift upon learning that he and Scale are fated soulmates, either designed to fall madly in love - or kill each other trying.

Depraved, full of teeth, and at the mercy of the Sunless, there are no bounds to Mylu's primal craving to eat Scale alive, or Scale's tormented yearning to claim Mylu's soul, even if it means Wishfor pays the price of their Fiendish love.
