Wishfor, a planet full of mystery and politics.

Mylu, an attractive young man of Ethereal birth with fragile brown skin made of petals, but an opposite hot-headed temper, criminal history, and a traumatic upbringing, believes it to be his bad karma catching up with him as he's kidnapped and taken to be auctioned off beneath Wishfor's crust in the Realm of the Sunless; A treacherous underworld infested with outback beast-men, corrupt drug warfare, and eldritch demons sent here by the cosmos to spread the influence of the darkness across opposite light-bearing souls.

Scale, a mighty Luciferian God of this Sunless Hell, chosen by the darkness to enact the will of evil and deliver Wishfor's Armageddon, is perhaps the biggest metaphor for don't judge a book by its cover of them all - and is the very last person Mylu expects to be his hero.

Reserved, tall as a giant, broad as an armored door, pretty as the night sky, and a total social recluse: Scale is a man with a complex separation between the darkness in his soul and the radiance of his heart. He's brilliant, awkward, and Mylu's buyer, using his position of power to fuel his bloodlust, warped sense of morality, and purpose of being.

Shamelessly intending to bully the pale, horned, red-eyed, devilish older man into returning him back to the sun, Mylu's world begins to spiral, upon learning that Scale's reasoning for wanting him may be darker, hotter, and more complicated than either of them could ever imagine; the two of them, fated villainous soulmates, designed by the gods to destroy until they're the only two left standing in twisted paradise.
