Go for the throat

Follow Emily through her life as she tries to survive her turbulent family and the death of her brother in this story.

Emily is the product of an affair, her father is not okay with the fact that she is alive. Her mother went missing after leaving her on her father's doorstep. Now a child, her brother just died in a tragic accident and her older brother is really becoming over protective.

It doesn't help that Emily is not really right in the head. She's been seeing her dead brother.. bandages around his head.. but strangely, he has fuzzy golden bear ears and she's sure if she checked, a puffy golden tail.

School isn't easy when she is trying to avoid a boy who is insistent on being her friend. He seems to think he can help her. He also thinks she will like his group, who everyone calls 'The Missing Kids'.
