Everyone thinks Jinx is dead.

After falling out of the sky and surviving what should've been an ending, she disappears into the Farmlands-a quiet place with dirt roads, broken engines, and people who don't ask questions. She builds small things. Fixes what she can. Tries not to explode.
Then she meets Lucifer Morningstar.
He's charming, infuriating, and far too interested in a girl who's supposed to be a ghost. Like Jinx, he's between lives, hiding from a past that refuses to stay buried. Together, they linger on the edge of something fragile and dangerous: peace.
This is a story about surviving endings, choosing new names, and learning how to build something that doesn't fall apart.
