'I never thought we'd end up like this.' He sighs, looking down, causing the fickle rain to drip down his face.
'What do we do now?' He asks me, the last glimmer of hope in his eye, losing power.
'I'm tired Luke, No, I'm exhausted, i don't have the answers this time.' The lack of enthusiasm in my voice is clear, he drops my hands.
'Don't leave me, please?' His voice cracks as he speaks.
The rain is smashing down so hard now its hard to see whether he's crying or not.
'I'm sorry Luke.' I choke out.
I turn on my heels,
And i run. Letting the rain drown me and sail me away to somewhere else.
