Serena Midoriya is damaged, but everyone can see that from a mile away. After being taken by villains when she was fourteen and experimented on for the past six years, she's not entirely sure who she is anymore. Is she worthy of being a hero? Eraser Head and the students in Class 1-A seem to think so, but all Serena sees is a broken girl with a shattered mind. Not a hero... not entirely human, either.
But Katsuki Bakugo sees something different when he looks at Serena. She used to be the one person who stood up to him whenever Izuku got in his way, but now? She's different, changed, and molded into a woman he never thought he'd see again. Now she's closed off and timid, the direct opposite of the girl he once knew. He hates that she's lost her fire, but what he hates more is that he cares about her.
But it's not just the past that haunts Katsuki and Serena; it's the League of Villains that lurk around every corner, threatening to shatter the semblance of peace Japan has felt for years. Can they survive and persevere as heroes in training? Or will they crumble under the pressure and become lost in the pages of history?
